ABOUT JEFF MONAHAN
As an actor, Jeff has performed over thirty roles in regional theater, including The Baptist in Salome, Larry in Hospitality Suite, "J" in The Human Chair, Levin in Anna Karenina, and Pony William in the North American premiere of Knives in Hens.
Feature films include roles in Richard Linklater's "Last Flag Flying" with Bryan Cranston and Steve Carrel, John Sayles' "Lone Star," with Matthew McConaughey and Kris Kristofferson, George Romero's "Bruiser," with Peter Stormare, and "The Dark Half," with Timothy Hutton.
Network television includes "The War That Made America" on PBS, "Bet Your Life" on NBC, "Target Earth" on ABC, "Dead Men Tell No Tales" on HBO, and a recurring role on "Outsiders" on WGN America.
Jeff is also a professional screenwriter and has had five of his feature scripts produced and distributed, including "Hits," with Martin Sheen, "One Way Out," with Michael Ironside, and "Corpsing," which he also directed and starred in. Other directing credits include: "On Sabbath Hill" (short), "Valley of the Shadow (short), "Five Blue Haired Ladies Sitting on a Green Park Bench" (theater, starring Carol Cleveland of Monty Python's Flying Circus).

In 2023 Jeff was honored to participate as one of two judges in the Nepal International Film Festival. He starred in the feature film, PIG HILL, with Rainey Qualley, and directed by Kevin Lewis. And he's co-producing the play "Borrowed" with Tony Award winning producer Jim Kierstead (Broadway's Kinky Boots, M. Butterfly, Six, Mrs. Doubtfire, and Sweeney Todd).
